You also agree not to post links to such material.
You also agree not to post any copyrighted material unless you own the copyright or you have written consent from the owner of the copyrighted material.

Spam, flooding, advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, solicitations and competitor advertising are also forbidden on this forum.
Note that it is impossible for the owner of this forum to constantly monitor the content of posts as such, we are not responsible for the content contained within.

We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of any information presented. The posted messages express the views of the author, and not necessarily the views of this forum, its staff, its subsidiaries, or this forum's owner. Anyone who feels that a posted message is objectionable is encouraged to notify an administrator or moderator of this forum immediately. The owner of this forum reserves the right to remove objectionable content, within a reasonable time frame, if they determine that removal is necessary. This is a manual process, however, please realise that they may not be able to remove or edit particular messages immediately. This policy applies to members profile/signature information as well.

You remain solely responsible for the content of your posted messages. Furthermore, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the owner of this forum, any related websites to this forum, its staff, and its subsidiaries. The owner of this forum also reserves the right to reveal your identity (or any other related information collected on this service) in the event of a formal complaint or legal action arising from any situation caused by your use of this forum.

With this user account, you agree to never give your password out to another person except an administrator, for your protection and for validity reasons. You also agree to NEVER use another person's account for any reason.  We also HIGHLY recommend you use a complex and unique password for your account, to prevent account theft.
After you register and login to this forum, you will be able to fill out a detailed profile. It is your responsibility to present clean and accurate information. Any information the forum owner or staff determines to be inaccurate or vulgar in nature will be removed, with or without prior notice. Other appropriate sanctions may be applicable.

Please note that with each post, your IP address is recorded, in the event that you need to be banned from this forum or your ISP contacted. This will only happen in the event of a major violation of this agreement.

In general forum members will be left to police themselves.  Treat others with respect and dignity.  Please remember that this is a public place and that many different people from all walks of life, religions and of different ages (e.g. children) read it.

Please understand that we cannot tolerate offensive or abusive posting (and to a certain degree sarcasm aimed at a person or persons).  It is not our intention to censor posts, but if necessary, the administrators and moderators reserve the right to alter, edit, amend or even delete such posts.

Any deleted post may, or may not, be retained on an administration and moderation board for future reference, at the discretion of the administrators and moderators after a review period.
We would like to preserve the spirit of open and interactive discussion without offending participants.
Please remember, any messages you post will remain in place for as long as this forum is online.  We will not edit any content unless it doesn’t conform to these guidelines.
If you have a concern about a particular post, or, if it has been modified or removed, please feel free to contact the team by using the “report to moderator” icon in the lower right corner of the post concerned.

If you suspect that a post on this forum has infringed any copyright, please report that post so that we may remove it for review.

Puppet accounts will not be permitted.  A puppet account is one that is created by an existing member, for the purposes of posting anonymously.  Please use your own account for all posting.  Posts made from known puppet accounts will be deleted and both the puppet and actual accounts may be banned from using the forum.

Banning may take the form of a temporary or permanent ban.

Please keep on topic.  Responses to a particular thread should be relevant and pertinent to that discussion.  If you wish to take a discussion off the particular topic, please feel free to use the “New Topic” button to start that new discussion.

Sometimes a discussion thread may stray off into a friendly dialogue or even a heated debate among a small number of participants.  For this reason, Private Messaging or other third party message service, such as MSN, should be used.

Please also remember that pm's are just that - personal messages and should remain private between the respective parties, unless agreed by those concerned.

Multiple posting of the same message to numerous topics or boards is considered Spam.  Such duplication will be deleted or consolidated by the administrators or moderators.  Please do your best to post messages in the most appropriate forum board.  Any that the administrators and moderators feel would better in different area will be moved to that area and a link left to redirect readers.

Any thread in the Off-Topic area will be no longer than 3 pages – this will be robustly applied.

Commercial or solitatious postings are not allowed unless agreed, in advance, by the Site Founder.
All classified advertising of personal sales or wants should be posted in the appropriate “for sale” or “wanted” board.

The moderation of this forum is carried out by volunteers who give up their own time to carry out this “envious” task.  While they are here to help and give advice about posting and use of the forum etc… please bear in mind, that they have extremely thick skin and will carry out their jobs within these guidelines.

Reiteration of why I set up the Owners Club

To further interest in the Mitsubishi L200.
To provide web based discussions (at www.L200.org.uk).
To provide members with information, advice and assistance on matters connected with the Mitsubishi L200.
To arrange on and off-road events (non competitive), maintenance lectures/demonstrations, social and other meetings.
To afford members such benefits, discounts and privileges as it may be possible to arrange.
To support/donate to the Macmillan Cancer Support and Help4Heroes charities.

I have spent many years running/moulding the website and the Owners Club, I would hate to see a drop in quality and standing.
I see the site progressing into a kind of L200 Wikipaedia/Knowledgebase.

Content of this site has been gathered over several years, by many people  - PLEASE do use it for personal use but, do not copy it for comercial gain or for use on another website.

I retain the right to ban anyone who breaks any of the rules above or is the subject of complaints from other members.

This a  long list – but, not a definitive one – it may be changed at any point

Having said all that, please enjoy your time on this forum.
Chris
