Post by: alfie on 02 August, 2019, 14:38:23 PM
Hi Anybody fitted an LuK clutch TO A CLASSIC SHAPE I am replacing an Excedy clutch which has only lasted 15000 but the excedy thrust bearing is all metal whereas the LuK seems to be a mainly plastic affair with a metal bearing it does not look robust enough thanks in advance ??? ??? ???

Blimey  ??? my original Mitsubishi lasted over 100.000 the first exedy I had slipped from the beginning and was replaced under warranty the second I was optimistic with 15 it was actually only 10000 before it stated to judder and was slipping badly by 11000 I had it changed for an LuK NO SLIP NO JUDDER AND NO HORRIBLE THRUST BEARING NOISE no more exedy for me
