Title: L200 2011 2.5 TD Loss of power
Post by: moso on 28 May, 2020, 17:07:51 PM
My L200 Barberian 2.5TD B40 2011 model has developed an intermitent fault in the last 12 months.
Its fine when starting from cold can drive anywhere and as far as I like, but after any trip once engine switched off and left for a short while
then re started it loses power straight away, u can rev the engin but is lumpy, if u try to drive it just spluters especialy up an incline or slope there is no power,
after 15 mins of driving the problem disappears. The problem now is more frequent, have been running on BP ultimate and Vpower diesel for the last 3 months as was advised not to run on supermarket fuel.
Booked it in to local garage and they cant find the fault, advised me to look for a Mitsubishi independant mechanic. Any machanics ner Maidston Kent?

Mike

Is air getting into the fuel system somehow? Or perhaps you have some sort of fuel blockage, hard to tell.
