NICKBURT any one here know about collectable beer no i mean real old beer the misses late ex hubby used to collect them, i would say that they are about 30 years plus old still got the lables on them and still got the caps and seals on them (about 100 bottels) she would like to donate them but she wants all the proceeds to go to the macmillan hospice which was where he passed away nick if i bring them up on the work shop weekend will you auction them off on our behalf please. |

Off to do some research - need to make sure these are auctioned to the widest market possible to make sure we get the best money for them, and therefore maximise the donation to Macmillan.

A BIG thankyou to Lurch - several cases of old beers now residing in the workshop. (Yes, resisted the temptation to try a few !!!) These will surely raise a good amount for the Mac fund. Just need to catalogue them and find out what they might be worth - that'll keep me busy for a while  Also, a large pile of 2T straps (all have SWL tags) - very useful as tree strops for winching etc... Think the general consensus was that asking £5 each was about right - all payments for these is to go to our 2011 Mac fund. |

Was on the understanding they go for £5 each into the Mac Pot. 2T in a straight pull, all tagged 1.5m long. Each one has been used only once, then have to be destroyed due to H&S reasons Absolutely nothing wrong with them and haven't been over stressed. Green - if it makes a difference !!!! |
