right lads, im about to order a decat pipe, im seeing a few different bores on them though, assuming the standard downpipe is 2 inches, whats the advantage in fitting a larger bore pipe - if any, seen this one which equals most i have seen and is a lot cheaper    cheap ss decat    anyone here had dealings with them

Dont think there would be any advantage in buying a larger bore decat as the 2" version is the same bore as your own exhaust.

Storm decat was recommended to me by someone on here, it is £30 + p+p but its a pretty substantial piece of kit and does come with 4 new bolts with nuts and exhaust gaskets, heard others come with nothing.

If it looks good and other people are happy with the product then go for it, best thing i ever did was decat.

Go for it you wont regret it I could not believe the difference  Grin  I used the storm  this one looks OK.
Don't think larger bore would be beneficial as it might cause swirl in the exhaust causing bad flow.
Would be OK if you were going to use big bore exhaust throughout.

i was thinking along similar lines as that, even though my walkinshaw exhaust has twin separate tails the `feed` pipes standard, have to get tilly mint to order n pay via paypal as i dont have an account now
