Thanks to Mad4Life for the donation a few days ago.

Time to start plugging this one again now - only 3 and a bit months to go and a long list of jobs to get done before.

2 months to go (and the front end of the truck is in bits  Roll Eyes).

Every penny counts to this very worthy cause that touches the lives of all of us.  Let's hope we each never need to call on the Macmillan nurses.

Paid the money in from the Workshop Weekend - BIG thanks to all who attended and donated/bought stuff.

While on my Just giving page, spotted:

So far you've raised:      10,806.08
Gift Aid:    1,862.05

That's in 5 years to date.
Not bad, even if I say so my self.  A lot of that is a thanks to all on here who have donated and support us over the years.
THANK YOU ALL.

Thanks for your donation Dave.  Also to the Truck and Kastral for your donations.

Just about to send out 35 emails to various sub-contractors and suppliers - some of them have already sadi they'll support one or other or both the Mac and H4H, so there's a fair bit still to come in.

Well, if it's not sorted now, it's not going to be.

The start is tomorrow at Britpart, Craven Arms.  If anyone close by is at a loose end in the morning, we'll be there from around 10am.  The start is sometime between 1 and 2pm, or even 3, you just never know !!!

Thankyou to everyone for all the help and supprt getting ready and for all the donations.  It's not too late to add a few pounds to the pot, please feel free to donate as much as you can to this worthy cause.
Having seen the work of the Macmillan Nurses first hand, I know what a great job they do.

For those on Facebook and Twitter, keep an eye out for the odd post on the Mac page of the L200 page.  Follow me on twitter (@nickburt) on nickburt on Facebook.
Not going to bother with a blog this year as we never get the time to write it.

The start is at Britpart, Craven Arms tomorrow, and the finish at the Daresbury Hotel, Widnes on Sunday.

Where we go in between will be a mystery until the start of each stage, even then, it's still "interesting" what the route is.

Well, Cracking event again.

First night over near Sibbertoft.  Friday morning should have been at Sibbertoft, but the bad weather earlier in the week closed the place, so we went straight to Bruntingthorpe airfield and proving ground for a stage of code board hunting and play on the carts.
Then back to Britpart for Friday night.
Shame the first two days were reduced due to the weather, but, unfortunatley it's a big event to come up with alternative arrangements at short notce - who would have guessed at Xmas that the rain was going to keep on coming.
Anyway, Sat and Sun more than made up for the short first two days and we had two full on days of code boards in and around Radnor Forrest and the Welsh Mountains.
Sun was finished off with a big long drive, hunting for the answers to questions back up past Balla to Corwen.

The usual presentatin dinner was topped off by Lyn and I winning the Orienteering 2nd place, making it 3 years on the trot with a placing.  Don't know yet how we did overal, no doubt all will be revealed on the Mac website in due course.

Already planning for 2015 - there could be a 2 car entry now we have a second truck.

Overal results are out, one up on last year, 8th out of 83 finishers.
So, 10th in 2012, 9th in 2013 and now 8th in 2014 ...... 2015 ??

So far Lyn and my fund raising has just gone over 3000 for this year, one of our best.  Still a few sponsors to cough up - we should make 3500.
