Where will the Pheonix take us next?

« on: 10 June, 2015, 00:20:13 AM »

At it again .... and a BIG thank you to the Club and those who have donated already.  Sorry for the begging post, but we are sooooo close to 1,000,000 ....

My family, Lyn, Emma, James and I are fundraising as part of our effort to get the Help for Heroes 4x4 European Rally through the 1,000,000 rasied since the first rally in 2010. So far, the grand total is short of 1,000,000 by just over 6,000, that's just under 150 per team taking part .... WE CAN DO IT.

We've been a part of the Rally Family now since the beginning and want to do our bit for this, the last year of this event. Please consider making a donation on our fundrasing page: http://www.bmycharity.com/l200nbh4hrally2015 also linked in my signature.

So far, we've rasied just over 5K as part of our effort, please help us get our own total up further and help the Grand total past the 1,000,000. This would be great if we could do it before the start of this years Rally on this Saturday 13th June.

Many thanks for your time reading this. If everybody reading this all donated just 10, we'd raise several 100s in no time and get just that little bit closer to the 1M.

If you would like to follow our trip and see where we are from day to day, all the entrants have Skytag trackers fitted.  Take a look here - the tracking will go live on saturday morning and will be switched off when we reach The Eagles Nest on Wednesday 24th.  For the itinery, see here.

Many thanks Chris, just seen the donation.  We're doing fantastic now and thanks to the OC, we're one of the top fundraisers.

The overal total is now 187,161.98 for this year, with our little bit of that being 5,121.51.

The grand total is now 997,446.55, making the amount needed to hit the 1,000,000 only 2553.45, that's just 60 ish per truck going.

So, this afternoon, the total broke through the 1,000,000 - a fantastic achievment.
