has anyone ever replaced there speedo cable?
The plastic shaft that goes into the clocks appears to have snapped off I have tried to glue it with no joy so I think its a new cable jobbie as the plastic bit dont come off.

Yup, getting the head back through the bulkhead is a pain.  Awkward position and angle to get it through.

if the rev counter worked it wouldnt be so bad i could judge the speed easier
Use a satnav or an app on your 'phone??

Chris passed on your message to me - I'm away all week, so can't see what we've got until Sat I'm afraid - sorry.  Pretty sure we've got one though.

Thanks Nick I can wait managed to bodge it for now,  glue didn't work on its own so I drilled both ends of the snapped plastic pin cut a piece of copper wire inserted it into one end glued the pushed the other end of copper into the snapped bit more glue and it is working now a little bit fluttery but will do until I can get a new cable in there.  no speed on my sat nav or on the app I use but don't need it at the moment
