Hi all,

I've acquired a L200 model K77, left hand drive, 4M40 diesel engine, built some time around 2007(?).
Can't be more specific as vehicles out in this part of the world don't get sold with log books, registration papers, MOTs
 
I'm looking for an electrical wiring / workshop manual. Any ideas if one exists? or if there is anything around for a similar model?

Also,
I have an opportunity to ship out some spare parts to here (Caribbean) in the new year, where would be a good place to start looking in the UK for parts? It's almost impossible to get anything local.
Ideally NW England
I'll be looking for a spare wheel, rear light clusters, clutch, etc etc etc ....

The electrics are similar as to the 2.5.  Do u have a mechanical pump on the 2.8??

They were my thoughts. Mine is very similar to  the 2.5.  Few electrics. The less the better.

Not sure which pump you mean, water or vacuum or fuel ? Anyway I'm pretty sure it will be mechanical. It's a very basic model L200
The truck has wind down windows, nothing exotic like electric. That's actually a plus point, most electrical things here fail after a while.

I've found a manual for a 4M40 engine which is a start, I'll see what's around for a 2.5 for the electrical wiring

the fuel pump, pop the bonnet, if it has a diaphram and a throttle cable its a manual pump if it just has loads of wires coming off it, its an electrical one..

also think mechanical models have no EML light so a quick ignition test might answer that..

also called "FBW or fly by wire" for leccy pumps and "non FBW" for mechanical.

a wiring manual for a fbw or non fbw 2.5 4D56 would almost certainly answer most of your questions,   probably avalible from the OC
