hi I have a 2003 l200  the engine light stays on but no lose of power can any one help,

There's a multitude of faults that can bring on the EML.  As said, best to get the codes read. 
Or give us a lot more info about driving conditions, load, symptoms, recent work done etc... when the light comes on.
