Does it change with revs ?

At standstill, moving or both ?

Coming from the front/back - when going around corners ?

More info required :-)

Its definitely is coming from engine. Sounds like a tappet but much louder. It does change with the revs of the engine.

Can you check if one of the external rotating items is catching anywhere ?

Any smoke ?

Any change in performance ?

Any loss or cross contamination of fluids ?

There is a new head gasket fitted, no cross contamination of fluids, no smoke and engine seems to drive fine. I have replaced the tappet adjusters and had the head off. can't see any problems there.

Makes no difference weather the clutch is up or down. I was wondering about injectors.
