Hi All,

I have a 2006 Trojan which has recently been blowing the dipstick out of its holder and spilling oil into the engine compartment. Any ideas chaps???

Tell tail sign of piston blow by, The crank case is pressurizing and blowing the dip stick out. Normally this would mean worn bores or piston rings. Have a look at the dip stick where it sits at its home position see if it is not worn, might be just very loose. rap some PTFE around it to make it tighter. if it still blows out not good news i'm afraid.

try changing the O ring on the top of the dip stick
