Hi guys.
I've had my truck a few years now and still love it. (B40. Kb4t. 2007 4life.
I've been looking at a few mods and just wondering if any one else may have already done them
or have info on doing/not doing them.
1: converting/removing viscus fan to electric fan.
2: converting headlights to the later MK4 twin headlights (I know they are different shape. But are the mounting brackets in the same place. If I swap bumpers are those brackets in the same places) what's different other than the shape?
3: steel wheel and tyre options. What offset?
That's for starters. Also maybe exhaust stacks.
Cheers for any info
Howie

16mm steels 30mm offset, 8 wide unless your going for 35" or bigger

viscous fan stiffening is my preferred choice its dead easy,

also easy to remove,

Thanks for the input..
Not sure why I'd stiffen the fan other than for
Heavy towing. Was thinking more removing it
Completely and fitting an electric fan.
I'll look into those wheels. thanks

I have rang Kenlow fans a couple of times and they say their biggest fan has the same throughput as the original; so I never changed mine and it does tend to get warm when I am towing the digger. It occurs to me the a belt driven fan goes slower as the revs die off wheras an electric one stays at full output. Changing down early does help but crawling uphill in 2nd doesn't go down well with other motorists! Hope this helps. Pete.

My idea is the electric fan won't sound like an aeroplane taking off in the morning when cold so it could warm up quicker and it's not being driven all the time so might increase fuel economy

it will , needs to either be setup as a psuher (no aircon) or with good sealing to the rad if pulling
