Got a squeak . Definatly under the truck . Relates to one squeak per oropshaft revolution . Not really located it yet but advise on things to check or remidies so i can try and nail it . Can only hear when coasting slowly . Sounds like an active couples bed lol .

squeak returned . disconnected prop at rear axle this morning and found UJ moved one way but was just about seized the other way , 12 for a UJ or a few hundred for a propshaft , i think i will give it a go changing the UJ .  Cool.

I am having propshaft uj nightmare.

The uj supplied is not squezing together enough to allow internal circlip grooves to show .
I have checked numerous times i dont have falled roller pins . And i have measured to find the circlip groves are there width too far outward .
If someone has a '2006 on ' 'auto'  could i trouble you for a measurement inside dimension  of the rear prop ears .
I spoke to a propshaft specialist and they are sure i have original shaft . I spoke to where i got my uj and they were going to call me back but they didnt .
So i have a propshaft off and  might just take it to a specialist and wave goodbye to more

simple you have the old one there, measure width of the cross piece compared to the new, and then measure width with the caps on, compare to new,  try using the 2 good caps from the old uj on the new cross, see if that fixes it,

really they need to be squeezed together with hammer or vice,

milners will also know the width you should have so you can ring them

Got a uj against my reg number from eurocarparts and it went straight in . So not sure how the milner one did not fit . I tjink it was a wrongly boxed one but these things do happen and im just so happy its on the road again . Now to try and predict my next repair lol.
For anyone interested the euro car part was in a japan parts box with this info on it
