Hi, I have just had my diesel pump serviced. Initially the reason was that my L200 (2002) would just not start. The pump was returned to me, re-installed engine re-timed. Engine started straight away and continues to do so, however the dreaded EML comes on after every start. Truck seems to run with no problems but for the EML. Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated. Would if the fuel pump timing was slightly out activate the EML. There is a small amount of white smoke on start up. Thanks in advance. G.

Thanks for the input people, problem solved. The little vacuum pipe not connected under the oil cooler. Very easy to miss on reassembly. Gloomy.
