my K74 steering lock is playing up. How difficult is it to replace please ?

If it's just the lock barrel it is very simple. There is a small button on the lock that when pressed in allows the barrel to come out by being pulled out with key in the lock. However unless you can get a replacement barrel matched to the old one a new key and barrel would require the truck ecu to be reprogrammed to match the new key. Or, a complete set of key barrel ecu and immobiliser from a scrap vehicle.
