I use Smc parts department which are in west Drayton/stockley park
Jack is extremely helpful but the other guys are just there for the pay check!
They lack any technical knowledge
They are usual dealer prices but I managed to get a 10% discount just because I'm in there all the time I always try to use original parts!
So anything other than service items come from there!
There is KS international in South Ruislip but I've never been impressed with the parts
Some don't fit some don't last the service is great but I want to know I'm buying the best there is!
Things I've bought from KS include
Track rod ends lasted 1yr
Ball joints lowers and uppers
Lowers returned as couldn't fit grease nipple without drilling hole in wishbone!
Rear leaf springs returned as were 2 inches to short
Chrome mirrors and grill still fitted but lacquer is shot now needs painting
starter motor returned after 2 weeks use exchanged 2nd one lasted 3 weeks
They used to supply milners off road and a few other l200 shogun orientated web companies
Don't get me wrong they have things that are good I'm just saying if your looking for the above parts
Head to motor parts direct in Denham bucks or nationwide
ADL Blueprint parts always seem to be a direct replacement and they last
They are not the cheapest but I recommend them if your on a budget and don't want to get mitsy parts
The above statements are my opinion and not the opinion of the l200 owners club!
I talk from experience having owned l200s for five years and done all maintenance myself
These are my conclusions from my experiences and I drive my l200 in extreme circumstances and push all its mechanical parts to their limits
So my wear and tear will be a lot different to yours if you just plod down the town in yours!
I'm crossing rivers navigating rocky out crops on the side of mountains and I bounce up the occasional kerb!
