What are the two safety valves for on the fuel tank, why are they there and what do they consist of? Can they be removed and the holes blanked off? Nobody seems to have replacements in stock (not yet been to main dealer)

They are rollover safety valves. One cuts the fuel flow to the fuel pump the other shuts off the fuel tank vent in the event of a rollover to prevent fuel escaping.
Probably not a good idea to remove them.
