I am back in an L200. I bought my first in 2003 kept it 17 years when finally gave up (welding an such) and sold up. Tried a van, ford transit custom. Then on Thursday bought myself a 2015 Barbarian series 5.

I've seen the valves shoot up too, with the pull out of Mitshi from the UK do you think looked after examples will maintain this "high value"?

I've still got my 2001 K74, its like part of the family now. I think I must have changed every moveable part by now. Its a shame to see the site not being used, I check every day but it seems everybody pefers facebook which I loath.

Keep hold of them, by the time 2030 arrives and no new petrol or diesel motors are available, we will have proper classics, hopefully tax free and mot free and outside of the rubbish legislation which will surely come.

I will do my best, but by 2030 I'll be a classic myself.

I just hope parts stay available, I had to order a new common rail, fuel pipes...?.  for my B40 a few months ago direct from my local main dealer but took 4 weeks to arrive from japan because they apparently had no stock in the UK! I'm happy to keep the trucks running long term but will find that frustrating when they pull out fully long term.
