How do you adjust the sweep of the wipers mine sweep too far an hit the drivers pillar or go over the panel below the windscreen if adjusted the other way.

Have you cracked the nuts on both spindles and moved the wipers independent of each other?

Yes but that does not cure the problem it just transfers it to another place. Thanks all the same.
It over runs the pillar or the scuttle panel below the windscreen.
I need to shorten the stroke somehow to reduce the swept area.
Its only the drivers side that the problem is.

That's strange, I know this might sound silly but perhaps the wipers are the incorrect size?? The arms on the module are one piece and not adjustable I believe.

Its done it since new and its a 56 reg. I have put up with it so long Ill continue to do so.

Wiper blades are correct size even if several inches shorter they would do the same.

If I change to angle by bending to hook they just hit the scuttle panel.

I was just hoping there was an adjustment on the motor unit.

Thanks for the observation.
